A day of nature photography with local photographer Jarvis Smallman.

Suitable for amateurs or the more advanced, those with a good camera or just using your phone. All welcome.

We begin with little theory at the Hopetoun CRC then venture out to explore the Fitzgerald Biosphere, ending up at the coast for sunset.

The course will explore shutter speeds and aperture, depth of field, composition, and settings. We'll look at basic editing tools and tricks. We'll learn how to make the most of natural light and the techniques photographers use to make an image stand out. 

WHAT YOU WILL NEED TO BRING:

Please bring your camera/phone and any camera equipment (tripod, lenses etc) – make sure your camera/phone is charged up and the memory card has lots of space.
