About the Event

The Hopey Study Club is a safe and vibrant space designed to enhance profiency in reading, writing, spelling and math on Thursday afternoons during school terms. We learn best through play so the program involves educational games and activities to best cater for a range of abilities. Students are encouraged to bring in homework or to express any challenges they are experiencing with assignments or subjects.

Our aim is to provide students with a unique opportunity to work alongside their peers in a fun and interactive way, encouraging a passion for literacy and numeracy. All primary school aged children years 2 to years 6 are invited to the Hopey Study Club.

This program has been made possible by funding from First Quantum Minerals. This provides a qualified teacher for each session, and educational supplies.

The Hopetoun IGA and Simon's Market Cafe are donating fresh and healthy snacks each week to keep the bright minds engaged throughout the session.

Each term 15 students will be able to attend the club, due to safe distancing measures parents are not permitted in these sessions. Please note that we must adhere to government regulations, which might change throughout the term.
